License Leveling Without Wasting Crystals
Use daily, weekly, seasonal, and beginner missions to progress the Hero, Pro, and Special Licenses efficiently.
My Hero Ultra Rumble has seasonal license progression and a separate permanent Special License. They reward different things, so efficient leveling starts by knowing which EXP you are earning.
Hero and Pro License
The Hero License is the free seasonal track. The Pro License adds a paid reward row with items such as costumes, voices, Roll Tickets, and Hero Crystals.
Seasonal progression comes from ordinary matches plus mission rewards. The fastest sustainable routine is:
- Complete daily missions during sessions you already planned to play.
- Review weekly missions early enough that the unusual objectives do not surprise you.
- Target seasonal missions that are close to completion.
- Claim rewards before the season ends.
Do not wait until the final night to discover that a weekly objective needs several specific matches.
Special License
The Special License is permanent and unlocks characters and other account rewards over time. Public player documentation identifies matches and Beginner Missions as progression sources.
Because it does not follow the same seasonal deadline, avoid burning yourself out trying to finish it immediately. Use Beginner Missions for an early boost, then let normal play carry the rest.
Mission priority
When time is limited, use this order:
- Expiring event or daily objectives.
- Weekly objectives that need specific behavior.
- Seasonal objectives near their next reward.
- Permanent Special Missions and Research Notebook goals.
Permanent objectives can wait. Expiring objectives cannot.
Do not buy levels by default
The game may offer Hero Crystal shortcuts for license progress. Buying levels exchanges a flexible premium resource for progress you can normally earn by playing.
Only consider it when:
- The season is almost over.
- You are very close to a reward you specifically value.
- You have calculated the exact crystal cost.
- The purchase does not consume your next-season reserve.
Otherwise, save the crystals.
Stack objectives in the same match
Efficient sessions complete several missions at once. Before queueing, look for overlap:
- A role or character requirement.
- Damage, item, rescue, or match-count objectives.
- Event missions that accept the same mode.
- Research Notebook achievements for a character you already planned to practice.
Choose a character and mode that advance multiple bars. This is faster and much less miserable than treating every objective as a separate chore.
End-of-season checklist
Before maintenance:
- Claim all unlocked license rewards.
- Check whether unclaimed mission stars remain.
- Review the current season end time in your timezone.
- Decide whether any near-complete reward is worth one final session.
- Keep Hero Crystals protected unless a deliberate purchase passes your budget rule.
Licenses reward consistency far more reliably than panic.
